This is the warmest and richest sounding series in the Spendor lineup that lends itself closest to the traditional "British" sound signature. This doesn't mean what you are getting is a colored sound, you will actually find a mostly neutral experience with a forgiving nature that will leave a smile on your face.

The Spendor Classic 2/3 speaker is the best choice in the lineup when it comes to sounding great in any room and giving the best compromise between size, scale, price and agreeability with the surrounding room. It is a speaker that I fell in love with on my first listen. The timbre of guitar in particular is just breathtaking, however any vocals or acoustic instrument really will be the star of the show here. If you are a fan of Accoustic, Vocal-centric or Chamber music this speaker should be your starting point, you will find yourself sitting there for hours as you relax into the effortless and romantic reproduction of your favorite tracks. We also find this speaker can flatter lesser pop recordings that are frequently found on modern radio  rather than tear them apart and laying bare their compression.
